The European Commission is adopting measures to speed up the entry of safe, essential medical equipment and devices such as masks, gowns, washer-disinfectors and suits in the EU market. Νew and revised harmonized standards have been adopted to respond to increased and urgent needs related to COVID-109 pandemic by allowing a faster and less expensive conformity assessment procedure.
