In 2021, the 74th World Health Assembly approved the adoption of the Global Patient Safety Action Plan 2021-2030, whose primary goal is to “𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘹𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘮 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘥𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺”.
